Jingdong Yi Autonomous County, during the Tang Dynasty, was governed by the Yingsheng Military Command of the Nanzhao Kingdom, overseeing the surrounding areas. It has a long history and rich ethnic cultural heritage, being a famous historical and cultural city in southwestern Yunnan. It is known as the “Home of the Chinese Black-headed Langur,” “Yingsheng Ancient City,” and “Beautiful Jingdong.” In the Tang Dynasty, Fan Chuo’s “Man Shu” recorded: “Tea comes from the mountains surrounding Yingsheng City, it is scattered and harvested, without a fixed method of picking, the locals drink it boiled with pepper, ginger, and cinnamon.” This is one of the earliest recorded histories of tea cultivation, picking, and drinking in the Jingdong region.

The organic certifications of our teas

In its production process, no synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, plant growth regulators, or chemical food additives are used. It complies with the standards of the International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements (IFOAM) and is certified by organic (natural) food certification organizations. Organic tea is pollution-free and pure, natural tea. The entire production process is carefully managed by hand, ensuring that the soil is not polluted and that humans and nature coexist harmoniously. The tea is grown according to green organic standards, following nature’s planting principles, without chemical pesticides, hormones, or herbicides.
